We would like to thank you for your help in providing a fun snack for our St. Patrick’s celebration.
Important reminder: Spring Break will be March 24th through March 28th. We will return to school on Monday, March 31st.
April will be a fun and exciting month that will include lessons such as learning the parts of a flower, watching a seed sprout and helping out in the classroom garden by cleaning it up and planting some spring plants. Also, during the month of April we will focus on the continent Europe and read about its cultures, the people that live there and what kind of animals they have. We will also be learning a few Nursery Rhymes. Ms. Christina will be assisting the students with art by teaching them to paint a sunflower of their own. We will be learning about Vincent van Gogh, post-impressionist artist and looking at his famous painting, Sunflowers.
April 18th we will have a Spring Celebration and enjoy hunting eggs. Our class will hunt eggs at 9:30 a.m. so please be at school early so you do not miss out on the activities. When school resumes March 31st there will be a sign up list outside the classroom door for party supplies and items to fill the eggs with that the students will be hunting. We will also need four parents to volunteer to assist with stuffing the eggs and four parents to help the day of the Celebration on April 18th. We really appreciate your kindness and assistance during our special activities.
Have a wonderful Spring Break!!!
