First I would like to thank all of those families who provided snacks and treats for our Valentine’s Day celebration. The children were thrilled!
Your child may have told you about our study of the heart and circulatory system. As a culmination of our study, we made a model of “blood” with various ingredients to represent the components of blood (red and white blood cells, plasma, and platelets).
I’m pleased to let you know that tomorrow -Tuesday, February 25th, Ori’s family would like to provide a pizza lunch and dessert in honor of Ori’s birthday. If your child would like to have pizza, they do not need to bring a lunch on Tuesday.
Several weeks ago students voted on a continent to study. Tomorrow I will be announcing the results of our vote to the children, and we will begin our study. Each student will be asked to create a research project about an animal from the continent. We will do some research at school, but the project should be created at home. Details will come home in their green folders on Thursday.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Ms. Erin and Ms. Susie
