October was such a wonderful month. The students had so much fun exploring with tools. They learned many new vocabulary words while working on developing their fine and gross motor skills. They greatly enjoyed making their wooden jack o’ lantern faces. There were exciting food activities this month as well as art activities. Check out the school’s facebook page and our class’ shutterfly album for pictures from this month. Next month the students will be learning about trees and leaves.
Many thanks go out to:
- Everyone who donated time or drinks to our Fall Festival booths. Thanks so much to the families (including grandparents) who were so generous.
- All the people who donated trinkets for the trick-or-treat bags, the family who donated our pumpkin, and the families who brought our special Halloween snack.
- The adults who were able to stay and help with trick-or-treating and the parade on Halloween. A special hug goes to the adults who dressed up! Thanks for making our Halloween such a special class event.
There are several sign-up sheets on the bulletin board outside the classroom door. Please sign up now for November report card conferences. Conferences are optional, but are a good time to touch base about your child’s development and behavior. There is also a sign-up sheet for the class’ Thanksgiving Feast .
Have a wonderful weekend,
